The Cursed Teacher (Poem)

Illustrated by the writer.

Let me tell you all, today the great true story.

That’s a bit amusing though but freaky and scary.

A girl in grade 9, spending life very fine.

Preparing for exams to move into grade 10.

Then on a chilly night under the silver moonlight

Her life took a twist in just a single glimpse.

She saw Mr. Tee, who was smiling wickedly.

She asked him fiercely. “Why are you smiling sinisterly”?

He rushed in a second and whispered, “My dear student!”.

“Your fun life is over, as Mr. Jay is taking over”.

The girl suddenly shouts and stares at him in doubt.

Then asked him innocently. “What made you too angry”?

Sir Tee replied calmly. “Oh! My kid! Don’t you worry”.

Let me tell you all, today the great true story.

That’s a bit amusing though but freaky and scary.

He opened his diary and showed her, all her deeds.

Aren’t you the naughty Queen? turned my life into ruin.

You sat at the last desk with all of the nutheads.

Disturbed your classmates, ignored what your teacher said.

Busy with silly chores, laughing hysterically, and more.

Playing cricket with Maths book, writing poems on student’s looks.

Sketching teachers in drawing books, eating corns when History was taught.

This was all your wicked deeds that turned me into giant freak.

Accept my sympathy! “My dear ward”.

Grade IX is finally getting you rid off.

With fears and chills running down her spine,

She started the new year conscious like a lion.

Mr. Jay was all equipped, aligned with Mrs.Sib.

On her first meet, he asserted clearly.

Hear my good advice, lead a decent life.

It’s on my fingertips, to straighten naughty kids.

Don’t you ever dare, stay focused and be prepared.

The days went by, she intentionally forgot the advice.

She felt down and low as the life turned dull and mellow.

Back to her old trend with all her crazy friends.

Scoffing at the study freaks but oftenly doing good deeds.

Impressing all the dignitaries.

With respect and courtesies.

The year reached an end, sitting with her friends.

Remenecising the past years, with eyes full of tears.

It’s time to say goodbye, to the wonderful school life.

To all the great teachers, for their endless drive.

With a guilty heart, as it was time to be apart

Let’s ask for apologies to Mr. Jay and Mr. Tee.

She watched them sitting quietly in gloom

Preparing to say goodbye to wards so groomed.

She cleared her throat and delivered her thoughts.

She said, “Sorry and bless me, please”!

With tears in his eyes, he hid his smile.

Told, he planned to catch us all while doing something wrong.

But he always failed because of respectful traits.

You did well with the grades he politely said.

Mr. Tee broke the spell and blessed her very well.

Then he laughed hilariously, added salt to the injury.

That we bet for a treat if he failed to catch “Wee”.

Mr. Jay replied angrily and cursed the girl immediatelly.

That one day you will be teaching all such freaks.

Quoting his pet lines perfectly.

“What you sow, so shall you reap”.

While composing this poetry, she is crying badly.

Reminecing all the memories and laughing hysterically.

That she was just cursed because of Mr. Tee.

Now, teaching all the freaks.

Revealing this secret, proudly.

That cursed teacher is Me.

Dedicated to my superb school life and beloved teachers. Especially to the main characters:

Sir Jillani as Mr. Jay R.I.P

Sir Tanveer as Mr. Tee

Miss Sabri as Mrs. Sib Written by the culprit Wee (Waziya Muneer)

Don’t forget to share your experience. I love to know…
